Hooray
for Hollywood!!!!!!!!
A few years ago former Claymores QB,
Ryan Clement turned down the chance of a small part in a movie involving
Cameron Diaz and Al Pacino to pursue his football career in Europe..
But as team mate, Dameyune Craig captured
the headlines and a place in the Hall of Fame, the bold Mr Clement
has quietly disappeared from the football limelight.
It would not take a genius to figure
out that the film in question was on of the grittiest sporting dramas
to hit the silver screen in recent years that is now available on
video and DVD.
Was Ryan right to risk his career in
Europe or life and limb infront of the film cameras? Only
he can answer that one, but Hollywood film stories are like
the buses round here ( I cant believe I said that?).
If you miss one, you are sure that
there will be three more arriving where that came from. As
for the film itself, there is some on Claymores representation in
the form of former World Bowl Lineman, Matt Storm .
So does this tale grip you at the line
of scrimmage or would you get more excitement watching a re run
of the Claymores/Monarchs battle in Birmingham in 1997?
Read on.
