BULLS SURVIVE THE STORM

Dundee Storm and Kirkcaldy Bulls meet on Saturday (12th April), in Dundee to kick off the scottish conference of the BAFL Adult Flag League for 2008.

Adult flag newcomers, Dundee were looking to defeat a Bulls side who have been scottish adult flag champions for the last 5 years and have not been beaten by a scottish team throughout that time.

Dundee had little success on their opening possession, turning the ball over to Kirkcaldy on downs.

The Bulls then scored on their opening possession. Dundee leveled the score on the following possession.

Kirkcaldy then looked to take command when they stretched their advantage to 2 scores.

But Dundee managed to pull the Bulls advantage back and head into the half-time break with a slight advantage over the current scottish champions.

Second half witnessed both teams trading scores. Dundee kept the game tight with scores of their own.

Bulls went into the final 2 minutes of the game holding a 3 point advantage. Bulls sealed the win with a drive that resulted in a TD score.

Bulls host the Storm in the return fixture on the 5th July at Baveridge Park.

Till then both teams play the other 8 scottish teams over the next few months.

The top 2 teams in the conference are battling to make the national league finals in Sept.
