Craig NallNow it is Two Wins in Amsterdam!!!

Things did not go the Claymores way on their opening drive, when a breakdown on special teams saw Hart fail to covert a second field goal when the snap came off holder Shane Stafford's hands and was recovered by Englishman, Steve Hutchinson.

The Claymores made another big defensive stand forcing the Dutch to punt the ball away again.

But the momentum swung dramatically in the home sides favour when another impressive drive by the Scots was brought to a shuddering halt when John Minardi fumbled a pass by Nall from inside the Dutch Red Zone, which was recovered by Troy Grant taking the ball to his own 30 yard line.

There was a small crumb of consolation for the Scots when the Admirals were brought back 15 yards on a personal foul penalty.

But Bart Andrus's men seemed to have discovered a new lease of life, with Hill turning up the heat on the Scots Defense, taking them in sight of the Claymores goal line.

But the visiting Defense turned the tables when it mattered, when Deveron Harper intercepted a Hill pass at the Scottish one yard line, taking the ball back 17 yards.

And for the first time today, Kevin Stemke came into punt the ball away at the start of the final quarter, giving the Admirals a chance to mount another come back bid.

The Admirals Quarterback had his troops on the march again, making some major completions with Receiver Mathew Hatchette, taking his team deep in Scottish territory.

Then Ryan Collins cut back the deficit for Amsterdam when he added another touchdown form one yard out.

The Claymores were struggling to find their form from earlier in the game on their next drive and were forced to punt the ball away again.

Amsterdam's replay came from another threatening drive, which thankfully for the Scots finished with a 26 yard field goal from Joe O Donnell to bring the home side four points adrift.

As the minutes were ticking away, the Scots were desperately trying to give themselves some breathing room and soon discovered their form from earlier in the evening when Nall picked off Rodney Trafford for a 5 yard touchdown, which was converted by Hart to give the Scots a much needed eleven point cushion

With just over a minute remaining, the Admirals were looking to make the visitors sweat with another score.

But the retractable roof of the Amsterdam Arena caved in on the Admirals when Hill was picked off again, this time by Dyshod Carter, leaving Nall to come back on field to eat up the final seconds by taking the proverbial knee

The Claymores World Bowl dream is still alive, but even though the might need from other results, their confidence will no doubt be soaring after clocking up their first back to back win of the year.

Next weekend, they travel to Barcelona for a rematch with the Dragons, where they will need to claw back a 7 point deficit to win a tie break.  But after tonight, they must be confident that these games are well within their reach.
