ANGUS'S AIMS FOR FLAG GRIDIRON DREAM IN THE SUN

Inverness Rockets player, Angus MacKintosh, already selected to play American Flag Football for Scotland has now been selected for the GB junior squad which will travel to Gran Canaria in September for the European Championships.

Angus, a pupil of Culloden Academy, impressed selectors at the three day GB training camp held in Glasgow earlier this month, the selectors had to narrow the squad down to just 8 players and when Angus was selected he was also given the additional honour of being named defensive captain.

Angus who has being playing American Football for three years, plays American Flag Football for the Inverness Rockets junior team and kitted football for the Highland Wildcats.

Angus commented "Playing for Scotland is a huge honour but after going through the GB selection process and landing a place in the GB squad that will be going to the European Championships is the highlight of my playing career so far."
