BLITZ AWARDS 2009
Inverness Blitz celebrated their 10th Anniversary with a spectacular prizegiving ceremony at the Ironworks.
A host of players and coaches and supporters of the Blitz, both past and present, were in attendance as the focus was not only on the top performer from the season just finished, but also looking back over the 10 years since the American Football Academy was formed in the Highland Capital.

"The combination of the fantastic venue, look-back videos from all 10 years of the Blitz and some heartfelt words from various people made the event one to remember."
The most prestigious prize - the Blitz Achievement Award - went to Kenny Mackay, who has been an outstanding performer during his five years with the Blitz.
