The Inverness Panthers, believed to be the country’s first all girls team, played a friendly with the Glasgow Hornets in a “powder puff” game, where the ladies get the chance to take centre stage and the male teams and coaches provide support from the sideline.

The game was a fun game which both teams and spectators enjoyed fully. Some good runs from Chelsea Brooks and Karen Munro as well as some trick plays ensured it was a tight game, which eventually finished with the Hornets running out winners by only two points.
