STATEMENT FROM THE PAISLEY PYROS AMERICAN FOOTBALL TEAM

Head Coach Cunningham –
Born 18th July 1957 – Died 29th January 2006

We regret to announce that Craig Cunningham, our Head Coach, has passed away, aged 48, on Sunday 29th January 2006. He had been suffering from respiratory problems over the last two months, and was taken into hospital and put on life support on Friday morning.

Coach Cunningham has been of tremendous influence to us over the last 2 seasons, and has been instrumental in our successes, big and small, on and off the field. He has given us an unique perspective on the game we love, providing us with an offence that has scored more points than most of our competition. We will miss him greatly, as our Coach, and as our friend.
