CLYDE VALLEY AWARDS NIGHT

The Clyde Valley Hawks
American Football team held there annual awards night at the ten pin bowling
.
The awards are listed
from left to right and back row first.
Craig Macmillan RB
got offensive MVP for his outstanding running efforts throughout the season,this
was Craigs last season .
Gary Clark . Gary
was a first year player with the Hawks and with his oustanding hitting
and tackling fitted in really well and lifted Best newcomer and also defensive
MVP.Gary also went on to play for Scotland and GB.
Tam Chapman is seen holding the Scottish championship trophy as the Hawks
are yet again Scottish Champions.
Alisdair Longford got the best DLineman.Ali plays D End and had the most
sacks he also played for Scotland.
Robert Beveridge .This was Roberts first year with the sport and took
to it like a Duck to water so much so he won the best O Lineman award
,played for Scotland and went to the GB camp.
Scott findlay .Scot came up from the junior squad and played with the
big boys he fitted in great and played CB/S Scot got the rookie of the
year award.Scot actually travels all the way from England to play for
the hawks he lives around the Carlisle area He also played for Scotland.
Andrew Reynolds . Andy won the Players player of the Year and also the
coaches award for his leadership on the field .Andy plays with his heart
on his sleeve and also played for Scotland.
Kenny Ried recieved the most unusual award of the night after a freak
accident on the field left him with a broken leg .He won a Kit Kat for
the best break.
Last but by no means
least John Devoy .JD is all heart .The boys was borne to hit and won the
coaches award John also played for Scotland as well .
