FALCONS WINNING
STREAK CONTINUES PT 2
SAU/
Pop Warner Scotland League
Clyde Valley Falcons 54 – Glasgow Tigers 0
But the luckless Tigers were not to take advantage
as again Ross Ivison intercepted a pass and with penalty yardage
tacked on Falcons had the ball 1st and goal on the 4 yard line.
Falcon’s QB David Orr added to the tally
when he passed the ball into the waiting hands of Alan Harrison
for another TD.
CV’s control of the game continued in the
4th quarter when Fraser Anderson took the pitch and raced 40 yards
to the endzone for another TD.
The unfortunate Tigers left the ball on the ensuing
kick off only for it to be recovered on their 18yard line by CV’s
Blake Kyle.
Although the initial TD was called back for a penalty
it was only delaying the inevitable when Graeme Macmillan scampered
18 yards for his second score of the day.
The scoring was finished for the day when Jamie
Weir carried the ball over the goal line for the extra point. This
week falcons take on the Rams at Wishaw.
Other game score:
North Lanarkshire Rams 44 - Bannerman High
Wildcats 0
