Flag Football League Week 1

Last weekend witnessed the opening game of the inaugural "Dundee Hurricanes Schools Flag Football League", between Braeview Academy and Dundee High.

The opening game was the first game in a series of games which will find the best High School Flag Football team in the Dundee and Angus area. The other competing schools are Monifieth High and recent UK finalists, the St Johns High Eagles.

Despite Braeview Academy leading the game from the start, it was Dundee High finished off the strongest and taking the game into overtime. Dundee went on to win the game 50-44.

Braeview Academy will be back in action again this Saturday at St Johns High, when they play the host team and Monifieth High. Kick-off is 9.30am.
