Last year, I had said that this was going to be an important 12 months for this this website.  We have been in operation since 1997 and have worked hard, along withthe co-operation of many within the American football circuit to bring you a wide and varied coverage of the game in Scotland.

Even though we have been going on for so long, it would be foolish for us to think that even though we have a lot to proud of on what has been done here, we are not immune to change.

During the past 12 months our personal situaitons has meant that it has been more difficult to get to all the games, we do not receive the same amount of updates and reports that we used to and with many of the teams enhancing their web presence that is understandable - but it does take us down the road of copyright issues.

We still welcome any news, reports, features etc, which we will gladly publish with full credit to the people that send them in.   However we do reserve the right to amend it in accordance to our editorial policy.   Those who do send them in - it is very much appreciated.

Now I mentioned earlier about the need to change.  The stories that we carry is one thing, but it was felt that the structure had to change as well to make it run more efficient.

First of all, the club and team pages that we had have been removed, so from now on, they will feature in a new section that once had its origins as a student gridiron magazine - called The Locker Room.

This section will contain all reports, picture galleries or anything relating to games.  We will not be doing our 24 hour turnover on producing reports and pictures, due to a new layout and style that we are developing. 

Any Locker Room updates will be uploaded on the Wednesday.   Any short news items can be updated on a daily basis as will any features or reviews.

Please note not all sections will be fully active, but notifications of any new content will be highlighted on the update section on the home page.

I hope that you will like this new layout and that you will find it much more efficient.   Please note that if you want to look back at any of the old reports etc on the old layout, then there is a link at the bottom of the page.

The changes to this site was necessary.  If I have missed out on publishing your stories that you sent to me in the last week, please accept my apologies.  I am happy to say that we are back in business.
