Chorley and Manchester respectivley to set up the first time all Scottish British Junior kitted final but before this game the 3rd and 4th place game took place .
This game was a shoot out with the Manchester Titans winning by a point as the Chorley Buccaneers fumbled the ball on the 5 yard line as the clock expired. It was a game of powerful tackling and hard fought yards
The tention was high as the Tigers and Falcons took the field in the final. The games between them are always tense and usually very very close .This one was no exception.
The Tigers won the toss and went to work right away with their brilliant passing game but were stopped on the Falcons 5 yard line as Woods batted down the pass.
The Falcons then went about things their way and started with the running game With Sean Fallon ,Grant Isdale and Callum Woods all making yards .
The were also stopped by some hard hitting from the Tigers . At half time the Tigers were in the lead by 2 points Coach Gillespie gave the boys a motivational talk asking the boys "Do you really want this title .You have went unbeaten all season and I for one do not want to lose it now .Who's with me " An almighty roar from the players raised the heckles on the spectators knecks and you just felt something was about to happen .
And it did.
The scores stayed close but with great catches from Mullhern ,Sammuels and some really powerful line play from Frame and Filmer with only 2 minutes left the Falcons found themselves on 4th down in their own half and needing 7 yards to stay in the game .
Young up and coming Quarter Back Jordon ( Ken ) Harvey took the pitch from Nick Farrell and managed to barrell over the half way line before being forced out of bounds to keep the title alive .
They scored on the rest of that drive to make the score 37 v 33 to the Falcons . Having been here before and knowing the Tigers to be really well coached by Graeme Clee the Falcons made one final stand infact in the last play Isdale and Samuells nearly knocked each other out as they went up to bat the final hail Mary pass away.
That was the last play of the game giving the British title to the Falcons to go along with the Scottish title.
When asked coach Chriss Farrell said " I am so proud of the lads .They have been commited all season long and gave their all today. No man was left feeling he could have given more"
The Falcons players and coaches would like to thank the Tigers for a great season as they have pushed them close every game .This game is about inches not yards and every inch was fought for by all the players here today."

The awards were presented by Jerry Rogers on behalf of BAFL . The tournament MVP went to the Chorley Buccaneers number 7 (name unknown at this time)
