BACK TO SCHOOL
Dundee
Hurricanes launched their 2007 season on Sunday, by hosting a BAFCA Flag
Level 1 coaching course for all prospective flag football coaches.
BAFCA Flag Director,
Mark Bramwell delivered the day’s session to coaches who travelled
from all over Scotland.
Mark commented; “
This is a good start to the New Year and BAFCA hope these newly qualified
coaches will now take what they have learnt today, back to there own teams
or look to start up new teams”.
The day’s event was set-up to coincide with the launch of Dundee
Hurricanes school football program.
A number of high schools
teams from across Dundee will be starting teams, over the next few weeks
to compete in the schools league, which will officially kick-off in March/April
2007.
Dundee
will also be working towards representative squads competing in SFFA leagues.
Dundee Hurricanes are in the process of setting up additional BAFCA courses
over the next few months. Details of each of these courses to follow soon.
