TIGER'S HUNTER MAKES NFLE SHORTLIST

GLASGOW TIGERS 2005 MVP Ryan Hunter has been selected to attend the NFL Europe Training camp in Germany on 6th January 2006.

Ryan was recently tested by coaching staff from NFL Europe at Grangemouth Stadium, and has also starred for the Great Britain National team in Sweden.

During 2005, Ryan was the Defensive player of the year for the Tigers with 102 total tackles and 3 interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

His MVP award for the Tigers came on the back of 1,066 total team yards from receiving (501yrds), rushing (111yrds), punt returns (283yrds) and kick off returns (171yrds).

Tigers Head Coach Derek Taylor says “I’m really pleased that Ryan has been given this opportunity, and after the 2005 season that he has had you cannot doubt his commitment and ability.”

Ryan Hunter started playing American Football 4 years ago with the Glasgow Tigers Youth Team, where Head Coach Alan Wilson helped him develop and play for Scotland Youth.

" He then went onto the Glasgow Tigers Senior team who play in Division 2 of the BAFL.
A further 5 youth players are expected to make the step up to the adult team for 2006."
