The Dundee Hurricanes have launched a “Sponsorship Draw” promotion.

Local and national businesses are invited to pay a £25 entry towards a special prize draw. The first business drawn out on Sunday 2nd April 2006, will become the official Dundee Hurricanes game shirt sponsor for the 2006 season.

They will also feature on the teams official website and game day programme. The next five businesses drawn, will each be included in our game day programme for the 2006 regular season.

It’s a simple concept with a simple reward, and all for only £25. This top prize is valued at £1800; with game day advertising normally valued from £50 a game. No matter the result.

You will be listed in our game day programme and on our official team website as a working partner contributing towards developing American Football and players from across the region.

Originally started back in 1993 as the Dundee Storm youth team, the Hurricanes have been playing senior American Football in the British League (BAFL) for the past three years.

They are a non-profit making team, with all money generated contributing towards the purchase of new equipment and re-establishing their grassroots programme for kids from across the Tayside area.

They aim to re-invest all monies generated through this draw back into the team and and provide a firm foundation, from youth level through to the senior level.

This programme can only be a success through the involvement and participation of local and national businesses, and the efforts of the local community.
