No
Cigar!!!!!!!!

But
to cut a long story short, my performances earned
a place in the Claymores records books – as the worst ever.
Punting
into the wind, my hang time of 0.7 secs did not even get the ball
past the half way line.
As
for field goals, I was confident of a better display having booted
25 yards in practise. But
ten shots later, the ball had not seen the other side of the cross
bar.
And
as the rain continued to rain down on the spectators, I could see
Yo Murphy trying not to burst into hysterics.
But
we did finish on a high, thanks to Gentleman Jim Criner, who moved
the ball forward 2 yards shouting to Gordon “Get that Camera ready,
this one is going over”.
With
his words ringing in my ears, I was not going to let Jim down.
I summoned all my strength for one last welly and Quel Surprise,
the ball actually crept over.
And
as I took my round of applause from the spectators, my moment of
glory was now officially over.
The
last parting shot came from Mike Kenny who said.
“I would like to say that it has be a privilege working with
you, but I don’t like to lie.”
I
decided it would be easier working with the cheerleaders.
