Lanarkshire Longhorns build for the future

The longhorns held successful another training sesion at the weekend at Cambuslang .

Once again the coaches were delighted to see 30 + players turn out and go through the basic skills.

Coach Macmillan said " We have good numbers turning up and a lot of players from the Junior teams will see us okay in the skill position .

But as is the problem with Junior being 5 man you don't get to many linemen.

So if you are a big strong chap who thinks Im to slow to run around the field then come and let us turn you into a lineman."

Any person wanting to play will be made welcome .

The next session is at Wishaws Beltane playing fields from 11 sharp until 1 .

Just bring the right attitude and we will do the rest
