Meet The Longhorns Latest Recruits

After a disappointing response to their first recruitment session the Longhorns got a real boost yesterday from their try outs at Stonelaw. The team are now well placed to head into the 2011 Season with the depth of squad required to compete in every game.

A mixture of bad weather and a certain SPL game had affected the first try outs in Wishaw with only 2 new players joining the team, but our second "Rookie Camp" lifted us well over the 25 minimum required to ensure a regular squad for the season ahead.

We're still on the lookout for volunteers to help out as chain crew at our home games and of course anyone who wants to cheer us on is always welcome.
