MADDEN
NFL 2003 - A WHOLE NEW BALL GAME
 Anyone,
who has been in the crowd during an American
Football game or watching it on the TV, would no doubt be the first
to admit that there is now experience like it.
Now the makers
of gridiron’s top gridiron computer game has surpassed itself its
efforts to bring the glitz, razzmatazz and end to action of America’s
number one sporting export to the computer terminals.
For more than
13 years, Madden NFL Football has been the leader in NFL simulation
and for many, the definitive interactive football experience with
it’s excellent on game graphics and its innovative game play modes.
Now the best
continues to get better, as armchair gridiron fans get the chance
to experience in greater depth, the road to winning a championship
or oblivion with Madden NFL 2003 by EA Sports.
With the advancement
of computer technology, Madden NFL 2003 reaches a new level
in bringing home the big game experience,
with online game play, much improved graphics, enhanced play mechanics,
greater reaction amongst players, emotional based scenes on the
side lines along with a cinematic approach to instant replays that
many TV producers would be proud of.
And any gridiron
game would not be the same without the half time entertainment show,
provided by the home team cheerleaders.
For lovers of
the Monday Night Football on TV, the game is brought to life with
the expert commentary of John Madden and Al Michaels who provide
a more accurate play by play analysis than ever before.
The new audio
engine adds to the authenticity of the gridiron experience with
player’s banter, crushing hits, and greater crowd reaction and not
to mention the sounds of chart toppers such as Bon Jovi.
And for any
rookies, Madden the former play caller and now TV expert will provide
tips and advice during both offensive and defensive play calling.
 You
can also sharpen up your play calling and become an expert in all
of the playing positions by taking the Madden Tour Bus, traveling
to NFL Mini Camps to take control of players in practice gear and
strive to complete the skilled tasks and in your quest to earn unique
Madden cards.
As for the past
two years, the makers have recognized the emergence of the NFL Europe
league giving fans across the Atlantic the chance to pit their wits
against the best that the NFL has to offer and this year, have the
chance to take on an NFL Europe All Star select led my Kurt Warner.
What an American
Bowl that would make!
On the down
side, the makers have ignored key national stars who more than played
their part during the 2000 NFLE campaign like Manny Burgsmuller,
Rob Hart, Peter Sochart, Jason Byworth, but has found a place for
newcomers such as Stuart Hare - from East Kilbride’s Brancumhall
Park to Raymond James Stadium - fame at last!!!
But if you persist
to being a stickler for detail, then you can bring these missing
players in with Madden design a player function - but you would
have to give Rob two shoe.
Well that is
something they can work on for next year - but that is me just nit
picking again.
Madden NFL 2003
is available in PC, Playstation 2, X Box, Nintendo Game Cube, Game
Boy Advance and is once again a must for any true hi-tech gridiron
fan.
