There was no change in the scoring into the final quarter but still plenty to play for.

And the momentum appeared to be moving in the Falcons direction thanks to a series of impressive runs from Anderson, taking the ball to the Rams 6 yard line.

Then minutes later, a well executed reverse move threw the Rams defense off guard, with William Minter sprinting over the goal line to put Clyde Valley 4 points in front, which was extended to 6 following a successful conversion from John Minto.

Instead of consolidating their lead, Clyde Valley soon found them selves in trouble at their 25 yard line, when Graham Aitkin found a gap for a ten yard run into the end zone, to put the Rams back in front, with Giannandrea adding the two point conversion.

The Falcons responded in style when David Orr fired a 30 yard precision pass to Minter for his second touchdown of the day.

As the Clyde Valley supporters turned up the volume on the sidle lines, it looked as if the Falcons were going to claim the title, but they were silenced when McTague hooked up with his go to receiver, Giannandrea for another touchdown pass with 30 seconds of regular time remaining.
