The Clyde Valley Falcons took on the Paisley Panthers at 9 aside at the Beltane Playing fields on Sunday.The weather was a little chilli but it didnt slow the Falcons down at all .

Team day Captains Graeme Macmillan and Alan Harrison lost the toss and Paisley elected to take the ball.

They started on there own 20 yard line but due to a fumble on the second play which was recovered by Keir Davie the ball went to the Falcons .

On the very first play QB Graeme Macmillan took the snap and ran a QB draw right up the middle through a gapping hole (made by the line) and took it 80 yards for the opening TD.

The EPA was missed and the score stayed at 6 v 0.

The defence did a great job with tackles from Ryan Rodger, Jamie Dickie and Colin Nichol to force a punt by Paisley..

The Offence took over with Blake Kyle breaking out on a sweep left for a darting 35 yard run.

On the next play with game MVP William Winter at QB he ran a QB sneak for 25 yards for a TD .EPA was again missed and the score was 12 v0.

This time Paisle did move the ball with the great running of number 4 for Paisleybut had to punt on 4th down.

With Graeme Macmillan back in at QB he launched a 40 yard pass which was brilliantly taken in by GB plyer Chriss McCRUM for the 3rd TD this time the EPA was good by John Minto to make it 20 v 0 .

With alan Harrison and Keir Davie joining the running backs Alan took a reverse all the way to the 20 yard line and Keir Davie finished it off in style with a sweep left .

The EPA was good by Andrew Scot the score was now 28 v 0 .

On the Falcons next drive QB William Winter threw a Td pass to Alan Harrison again the kicking of John Minto was good 36 v 0 on the fnal drive of the half QB Blake Kyle threw a 20 yard completion to William Winter for another great dodging run for the final TD of the half EPA was good by Andrew Scot.

The half finished with the Falcons only having conceeded 20 yards in total to Paisley and the score sitting at a healthy 44 v 0 .

It was agreed that the rest of the match would be an experimental period for both teams with scores from Falcons Macmillan ,Winter ,Davie and Kyle .

Coaches Macmillan and Gillespie both agreed that although the score was all one sided that the Paisley Panthers had fought hard .

The game was played in a great spirit and the Falcons would like to thank Paisley for the Game.

The Coaches at the end wished Blake Kyle,Graeme Macmillan,John Minto,Ryan Rodger ,Andrew Scot,Colin Nichol and Paul Sloey all the best as this was there last game as Falcons before the take the next step up to the Hawks.
