The Dundee Storm are back!!
After a few years in the wilderness, the Dundee Storm are back and getting ready to play again in 2008.
Originally started in 1993, the Storm will be entering the inaugural BAFL Senior Flag league.
The BAFL season officially kicks off in April and will conclude with the finals in August.
Acting GM, Bruce Foster says; "We have a couple of lads who want to play football, but cant play kitted football with the Hurricanes.
"So it was a no brainer to enter a team into the flag league. Initially we were going to enter the SFFA league. But with the majority of the existing scottish senior flag teams indicating they wish to enter the BAFL league, its only natural we follow the rest of the scottish teams. We will top up the roster with interested players from the Hurricanes".
The Storm are currently practicing each Sunday at Dawson Park (12-2pm).
Their first competitive test is a Superbowl weekend tournament being host by the Carluke Cobras on the 2nd February at Lanarkshire Race Course.
Other teams competing are the Stirling Broncos, Glasgow Hornets, West Coast Trojans and current scottish flag champions the Kirkcaldy Bulls
