In the second game of the double header between the Highland Wildcats junior kitted American Football team and the Paisley Panthers, both teams were now back to full strength and travelling with the Wildcats were their cheerleading group and mascot, `Rocky`.

The Wildcats won the toss and elected to receive, the Wildcats offence moved the ball downfield in a confident and consistent manner with the Panthers barely managing to contain them, the drive was rounded off when Callum Hickie ran in from 8 yards, the extra points were added when QB Kenny Mackay found Angus Mackintosh on the end of a short pass.

The Panthers offence, bolstered by having a full squad started well and made some progress but a determined Wildcat squad held them back, some good punts from the Panthers throughout the first 2 quarters forced the Wildcats deep into their own half, however it took until the 2nd quarter for the Wildcats to add to their tally when Mackay passed to Mackintosh for a 30 yard TD reception.

The Wildcats went in at half-time up 14 points to 0. On Kick-off the Panthers revealed their strength as their returner, following some good blocks set them up in good field position and the second half saw the Panthers driving down to the Wildcats 20-yard line on a few occasions but the Wildcats with their backs to the wall held firm and denied the Paisley team a score.

Callum Hickie picked up his second rushing TD of the day and Angus Mackintosh his second passing TD of the day after a 5 yard pass he ran on the back of some excellent blocks for a further 45 yards.

Once more the Panthers kick return team looked like they might score but a crunching tackle from Matts Kraft ended their hopes.

Stuart Harrison rounded off the Wildcats scoring on a reverse play running in from 40 yards to make the final score Highland Wildcats 32 Paisley Panthers 0.
